On December 16, 2009 National Restaurant Development opened its 22nd Checkers location in downtown Atlanta, Georgia. NRD is no stranger to the downtown environment where we operate several other concepts on the same street as our new Checkers. A local customer was quoted during opening day, “ We have been waiting for this Checkers to open from the day you put the sign up. We love your food and plan to be here a lot.”

This location is not a typical Checkers with the twin drive thru. We only have a walk up counter. There is inside and outside dining for our guest. Area Manager Victor Iwelomen and his team had a successful open with lines out the door. We are looking forward to the success of this new restaurant.
